fun with James

Even though it is still not quite warm enough to get outside regularly, and even though we are still getting over sickness, we are still having a good time here.

Tonight before bed, we were playing with James in the living room. He loves "being upside down" -- throwing his head back as far as it will go and laughing. So here he is, upside down:

James has learned a few new words this week: "pea," and some animal noises: "mmm" (moo) and "aaaa" (baaa). He loves to choose his own books off the shelf and insists that every page is read, even the pages that do not have words on them. He does not love vegetables, and today both oranges and yogurt (two favorites) were also unappealing. Oh, life with a toddler :)
